Community, Stories Many of us have been sheltering-in-place and practicing quarantine protocols for some time now. It got us wondering, how has the COVID-19 quarantine affected your mental health? Susan G. Komen sat down virtually with ambassadors Mat and Heather of the musical duo, Dauzat St. Marie to have an honest conversation about the impact a quarantine can have on your mental health. Heather and Mat are no strangers to sheltering-in-place, and self-quarantined a year-and-a-half ago to protect Heather’s compromised immune system during treatment for breast cancer. Komen’s Helpline is available by phone at 1-877-GO-KOMEN (465-6636), or by email at helpline@komen.org. Calls to the helpline are answered by a trained and caring staff member in English or Spanish, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET. << Previous Post A Komen 3-Dayer’s Journey to...
