Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced that it will hold a MORE THAN PINK Walk in Manchester, Vermont this fall on Saturday, Oct. 15. The Walk will begin at the Northshire Civic Center – Riley Rink at Hunter Park. “We are very excited to welcome Walk participants in person this year and grateful for the opportunity to provide a community for anyone who has been impacted by breast cancer,” said Linda Maness, Development Manager for Vermont-New Hampshire at Susan G. Komen. “Whether you are in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or a family member, friend or loved one, we hope you will join us in Manchester in October and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever.” “We welcome all the members of our breast cancer community honoring friends, family and anyone who has been impacted by the disease,” said Nicole Marohn, Executive Director of New England at Susan G. Komen. “The MORE THAN PINK Walk is about supporting advances being made toward curing breast cancer and the funds raised through registrations and sponsorships will give more individuals who have been impacted by the disease access to resources and the support they need now.” The 2022 Vermont MORE THAN PINK Walk will take place on October 15. The Walk route will start at Northshire Civic Center and continue to the walking path at Dana Thompson Memorial Recreation Center and return to Hunter Park.
