Susan G. Komen® Announces MORE THAN PINK Walk to be Held in Terre Haute, Indiana

Susan G. Komen^®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced that it will hold a MORE THAN PINK Walk in Terre Haute this fall on October 15, 2022. This year’s Walk will be held in-person at St. Mary of the Woods College and proceeds will advance Komen’s mission, fund groundbreaking research, and provide direct support to people facing breast cancer.

“We are excited to welcome Walk participants in person this year and grateful for the opportunity to provide a community for anyone who has been impacted by breast cancer. Whether you are in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or a family member, friend or loved one, we hope you will join us in October and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever,” said Jennifer Milewski, State Executive Director of Indiana at Susan G. Komen.

The Wabash Valley MORE THAN PINK Walk will take place on October 15, 2022. This year will once again be back together in person to support breast cancer patients and their families in our community. We will also offer a virtual Walk experience for those that feel more comfortable selecting that participation option.  It is our goal to be as inclusive as possible to all in the Wabash Valley.

This year’s MORE THAN PINK Walk will be preceded by a Tour de Komen cycling event and Concert for the Cure on October 1, 2022 at The Mill Terre Haute.
