Susan G. Komen® Announces MORE THAN PINK Walk To Be Held in Papillion, Nebraska

Susan G. Komen^®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization, today announced that it will hold a MORE THAN PINK Walk in Papillion, Nebraska this fall on October 8, 2022. The Walk will be held at Werner Park, home of Minor League Baseball’s Omaha Storm Chasers and proceeds will advance Komen’s mission, fund groundbreaking research, and provide direct support to people facing breast cancer.

“We are excited to welcome Walk participants in person this year and grateful for the opportunity to provide a community for anyone who has been impacted by breast cancer. Whether you are in treatment, celebrating survivorship, or a family member, friend or loved one, we hope you will join us in October and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever,” said Jennifer Redmond, State Executive Director of Nebraska at Susan G. Komen.

The Nebraska MORE THAN PINK Walk will take place on October 8, 2022. This year will once again be back together in person to support breast cancer patients and their families in our community. This year’s Komen Nebraska MORE THAN PINK WALK Co-Chairs are Amy Gillian, Executive Vice President and Margie Smith, Community Relations Specialist of PenFed Credit Union.
